VISION CITY’S YEAR OF THE OX CELEBRATION!

It’s going to be a BIG Day Celebration on 13th February, Saturday at the mall to welcome the Year of the Ox!

The PNG Lions and Dragon Performance Team, supported by China-PNG Friendship Association and the Pang Dynasty Integrated MMA Team have an approximate 8 Group of Lions to show some performances in the mall. Traditionally for the Chinese, especially for businessmen, the Lion Dance is a popular way of inviting good luck and fortune to welcome the Chinese New Year.  The Lion Dance and Dragon Dance Group will meet in the outside Amphitheatre with an acrobatic show to begin the celebration. Afterwards, they will come in the Main Entrance with a dance show to depict a story telling of an Ox climbing up to the Mountain and the establishment of friendship between China and PNG, honouring the sponsor, China-PNG Friendship Association.
This Year of the Ox Celebration, the public will witness a more festive experience!  The Lion Dance Group will throw some good luck messages, candies and more surprises to wish luck and prosperity to the people who would watch the show. The customers who are witnessing this event can catch these good luck wishes to be kept for the whole year.  Another good thing about this year’s celebration, the customers can take photos in the centre of the mall with the Year of the Ox Photo Background or take selfies with the Group of Dancers, and post it in their Facebook for a souvenir memory with either their friends or families.  You can tag along Vision City’s Facebook Page (facebook.com/visioncitypng) to highlight your pictures in the page’s timeline.
After the Main Entrance show, the eight (8) Lions will spread out to do a short performance in some of the shops at the Ground Floor, New Wing, Level 1 and Level 2.  The finale of this event will be a blast as the DRAGON DANCE GROUP will join the LION DANCERS in the middle of the mall for a spectacular and jaw dropping stunt performances that you’ve never seen before.
Come and join with us to welcome and celebrate the Year of the Ox at the mall!
