During this time\, the children receive a red packet with money inside ending in even numbers\, like “8” and commonly known as “Ang Pow” or “HongBao” which means red packet. This money is believed to help in blessing both elders and kids with greater fortune. \nVision City Mega Mall welcomes the Chinese New Year with fun and entertainment as part of the annual tradition of the mall.  The Mall Management and majority of the shops joined in one day to celebrate and welcoming the New Year with a full performance of the Lion and Dragon Dance Group.  The Lion and Dragon performers are both old traditions that demand acrobatic skill and years of tough training from the performers involved.
