Port Moresby is said to be PNG’s fashion Capital and the people have been living up to that name ever since. The week of Fashion shows begins with the official launch on Monday 7th October 2019 at Vision City Mega Mall, followed by the Essence Festival from the 9th – 11th October. The Essence Festival will open the lined up of events on a high note. The Essence Festival is Free to the public to feature six runways, art and SME markets.
The Essence Festival will be held at Vision City Mega Mall from the 9th to 11th October 2019 at the Mall’s Atrium.
The objective of the Port Moresby Fashion Week is to stimulate the creative, cultural industries and encourage growth to PNG’s economy. It is through this platform that we discover new and emerging talents, establish and grow new and existing businesses. With a plethora of amazing fashion designers, creative and artists, the PNG Fashion week is set to be remarkable.
