Set in 1920s Hollywood, the Minions stumble into the world of filmmaking after deciding they want to become movie stars. While trying to create their own monster movie, their usual chaotic behaviour goes completely out of control and they accidentally unleash real monsters onto the world.
As Hollywood falls into chaos, the Minions go from rising stars to public disaster-makers. Forced to clean up the mess they created, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and the rest of the Minions must band together to save the city, fix their reputation, and survive the very monsters they brought to life—while still trying to make their dream film happen.
